The Common Application - New Member's Orientation

This week I had the pleasure of photographing The Common Application’s New Member Orientation in Ballston, Virginia. The Common Application is a large and diverse group of individuals from the United States to around the world. These individuals can be from colleges and universities as well as smaller private and secular groups. They all have a common goal of influencing every student to pursue college and commit to higher education. The orientation welcomes new members annually and serves as a setting to get everyone on the same page with the upcoming application season. The Common Application expedites students’ ability to apply to multiple colleges at once, allowing them the opportunity to be sure they end up at a school they really want to go to with a program they really want to pursue.
